Distance from Planets to the Sun
Given the following data, which show the average distance of the planets to the Sun (expressed in millions of kilometers), draw on graph paper, a representation of the scale of our solar system.
To develop the exercise take as a point of reference the Sun and use the following scale: 1cm = 150,000,000 km. That is, 1 centimeter graph paper is equivalent to 150 million kilometers, that is why we must to use the graph paper.

If you do the calculations you can see that each millimeter wrong you are in representing the data you, in fact, will be wrong by about 15 million km in the reality !!
That is the importance of being very accurate when we represent our solar system scale !!
